INSTALLING YOUR NEW GARDEN I do everything from design, installation and planting of your new garden. However if it is a large-scale undertaking, I use a specialist landscaper to handle the hard landscaping side. There are several I trust, all fully accredited. The same is true of electrics. Some jobs are best left to specialists. There was once an old Indian craftsman who passed his time carving beautiful elephants: When admirers asked how he created such masterful beasts from simple blocks of timber he would reply: “I just cut away the wood that doesn’t look like an elephant”. Plants are sourced and delivered at a time that best suits the plants, so this may be over a period of several months. Please bear this in mind. Plants recommended take into account a maintenance level to suit you, with density and selection of specimens to suit your budget. When your garden is finished, it is just a simple matter of the sun shining long enough so you can sit back and enjoy your new creation. |
